The electrical system is next up on the agenda.
Interesting work, but it tends to get you the feeling you don't get
anything done, but you just got to take a deep breath and keep fiddling with those
connectors and relays...
 
After the decision was made that the fenders were going to go, a few alterations have been made, the removal of the running board mounts the most obvious . | ||

The Model A head lights had two separate bulbs for low and beam, and here's how they were adapted to be used with sixties style bulbs.
First the center of a 7" reflector was cut out, the old reflector to the left, and the cut out piece in the middle. |
The center piece was then fixed to the new reflector with four pop rivets. |
And here's what the finished product looks like. |
Here the head lights are mounted to the Essex again, along with a pair of small motor cycle turn lights. |
